great museum where it is allowed, you will see artists copying the work of the masters. Same here in Recolor - just follow the artists whose work you admire, look at their work in detail and try to copy the techniques you like. You can even screenshot a particular pic so you can have it handy for reference. When I do an import, I run it through all three lightening procedures. Sometimes I lighten too much and then redo it. automatic step and then I scroll over and increase the contrast. This helps eliminate the darkness on many imports. But there are pics with low contrast that just are not suitable for importing. Trial and error is the best way to teach yourself this. Hope this is helpful! Keep on coloring!! β€οΈπ
