@photobert I'm so glad his surgery was successful. He's got to be one tough cookie, but you're right, it can definitely lead to major problems down the line.
I've been sick for the last month. I think it began with allergies than went from head congestion to bronchitis. I had an allergic reaction to the first antibiotic. I got a new one yesterday so hopefully I'll feel better soon. When I drove over the bridge the water on both sides where trees hang over was green with oak pollen.

It usually gives me a headache or makes my eyes itch like crazy but this time it went a step further.
What have you been up to here lately? Have yall been able to get out & do things together yet?
Have you seen the new news about a huge gator crashing into a lady's door & was in her kitchen? This same scenario happened to another lady not too long ago. Well, take care & I'll talk to you soon ๐โค๏ธ๐ฆ๐ถโจ๏ธ๐จ๐ @photobert

@Holly Jane DE ๐จ๐ Wow, Iโm so sorry to hear youโve been sick, & then the antibiotic allergy to top it off.๐ This reminds me of years ago when I caught the flu (before we started getting flu shots). It lasted 6 wee๏ฟผks. High fevers, coughing, congestion, & then it turned bacterial & I need an antibiotic. Anyway the coughing was so bad it ended up causing a hernia that I needed surgery to repair 3 months later. It took weeks but I finally slowly got better. Bottom line: If you feel everydayโฆ

@Holly Jane DE ๐จ๐ that youโre a little better, (I call it a stair step better), then youโre headed in the right direction. Donโt fret at how long itโs taking as long as you are slowly getting better. It will happen. ๏ฟผThat said, did they test you & figure out the cause? Did they rule out Covid? I donโt know anything about Covid, I just know what happened to me with a bad case of the flu that turn bacterial. I hope youโre better๐Fluids, rest, decongestants, antibiotics, & time helped me.Love๐โฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธโฅ๏ธ

@Holly Jane DE ๐จ๐ I just watched the YouTube videos ๏ฟผof the alligator in the womanโs kitchen. And some other human encounters with alligators & snakes at peopleโs homes In Florida. I am completely amazed at how relaxed these people are around such scary prehistoric type creatures. You Floridians are definitely brave. I could never relax on my front porch, knowing that an alligator or a snake might slither by anytime soon. Lol๐ฑ ๐ ๐

@photobert Thank you ๐ WOW I can't imagine coughing so much & so hard that it caused a hernia! That had to be painful in more than one way, good gracious!
Yes, Covid was ruled out. I used to smoke and once you get pneumonia once, a little of the bacteria stays in your lungs & it's easy to get bronchitis & pneumonia again. And I had a history of bronchitis as a child, just as my brothers did. I can tell now just when it's wanting to turn into pneumonia, because it starts to feel like

@photobert I'm coughing up shards of glass. I go onto the doctor asap & get on an antibiotic before it gets any worse. I've had Covid 3x now. The 1st time was really rough & I was really sick for over a month. If I hadn't been vaccinated Idk what would have happened. the next time I was a little sick & the next time I had minimal symptoms & wouldn't have realized I had it if I hadn't took a home test.
As far as Gators & snakes go, I don't think we're brave so much. You adjust somewhat to

@photobert seeing snakes. But every time I have too close an encounter my heart hammers out of my chest. It's pretty rare to see an alligator up close where I live. Down south where most of the new development is going on is done in drained off swamp with canals, ponds & lakes criss crossing between peoples homes. If you see an aerial view of those places you'll see what I mean. Or if you fly into Orlando or anywhere from mid fl down & look out of the windows, it's eye opening how much water

@photobert is really there. And in spring mating season begins & the biggest alligators run smaller males off & they have to go somewhere or be killed. In addition, we have waaaay too many & their #'s continue to explode, & the # of hunting tags given to the public aren't nearly enough. They were on the endangered list in the 70s & since they got that protection they've exploded in #. And they can live until they're 100, so we're just beginning to see how big the males can get. Every year

bigger size records are broken from here to Louisiana & Texas. The biggest one officially measured was in the early 1900s & was 19 feet long. They scare me. Go to Gatorland & look at some of the shorts of Buddy & you'll have a new heart stopping perspective on how big they are next to a human. There's an old male whose lived there since the 1940s & his vocalizations were used in Jurassic Park for their dinosaurs. Enough about them for now, but I am fascinated & frightened by them. @photobert &

@Holly Jane DE ๐จ๐ Yikes on the alligators & snakes. Humans do mess up their natural habitats. I never thought about it that all the alligator mating is happening right down the block from people. That makes sense- but ๐ฑ. ๐We all have our weak spots-mine is my sinuses. When I get congested from a cold or allergies it goes right to my sinuses- I get clogged up with no drainage & it affects my thinking. So I make sure to use Nasocort right away to prevent infection. So I understand about your lungs.
