In general kangaroos prefer isolated, outback or grassy areas, they are however quite good at adapting to urbanisation to some extent. In the outer suburbs they are reasonably commonly seen in bushland bordering housing areas. We saw one near us the other day as we live near a โgreen wedgeโ of wetlands and bushy reserves ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
