Joshua Tree and raven in Southern California’s Mojave Desert. The Joshua Tree (Yucca brevifolia) is pollinated by Yucca moths and grows from 0.5 to 3 inches per year. Average lifespan is thought to be 150 years. (Personal photo; info from NPS website)

4 years agoWe lived close to Joshua Tree when in Calif. I must admit there are more beautiful national parks, but there is beauty in the desert too!
