Soooo finally I have a fandom-related post for you! I made them into the ship Malec from The Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare (or the show but I haven’t seen it yet). For @Daveigh Cabasa ✨contest✨ Here’s my very long and probably confusing explaination:

Malec is Magnus Bane and Alec Lightwood (or Lightworm but that’s a whole other story). Magnus (on the left) is a warlock. A warlock is the offspring of a demon and human that is immortal and can perform magic. Magnus’s magic is blue, hence the blue background. He is also a very fashionable warlock and loves glitter, so I drew that special suit on him, along with his eyeliner and floppy hair.

Alec (on the right) is a shadowhunter. Shadowhunters are “the children of the angel.” Their role is to protect humans by slaying demons. They can draw symbols on their bodies called “runes,” that have different purposes. Purposes such as healing, or heightened speed. The one on his neck is the deflect/block rune, which helps defend himself of incoming blows from an enemy. I also drew the angelic rune under his name which gives them the powers.

So yup. I probably won’t go through this round but it was fun making this even though it took like an hour and an half. Oof you probably think I’m really nerdy by now 😂😂.
