Me and my friend got so depressed about it when he didn’t show up during the final battle in endgame. This signified to us that he’s really dead. So we made up an entire fan fiction about how like Thor he survived the explosion after nearly being choked to death by Thanos he floats in space until he gets pulled into orbit by a nearby small but habitable moon. Not actually sigyn from the comics or Norse mythology. Upon finding Loki she nurses him back to health and they eventually fall in love and have kids. Many years later Thor lands on this planet with the guardians of the galaxy just before sunrise and is shocked to find Loki with a wife and 3 kids it gets very emotional. when the sun starts rising over the horizon Loki hugs his brother and tells him that he did not lie and the sun is shining on them again.

Sorry that was long but it makes the MCU so much less depressing if in your head cannon Loki is alive somewhere with a happy ending and someday might cross paths with Thor again
