I had to leave this morning at 6 oβclock just so I can get a good walk in and not be overheated, I went to a place calledBarboursville vineyards this weekend, what a treat , is closer to Shenandoah, but so beautiful flowers everywhere and they have a beautiful restaurant. I am glad you liked the pictures. The gold paper wrapped ones are rich cake/ fruit cake/ christmas cake pieces. The others are coffee and date cake. I am glad Uncle liked the pictures too. Making Asmi is a hassle - I have never attempted and cant remember my mother making them too. Everything else my mom made and taught me too. I remember making Konde kavun - the flat round one with a small bun on top - with Ananda. We made 10 and by the time we finished there was one left as we

2 weeks agoate each as we made them. My mother did the batter and we fried. Kept the stove on the floor. After you put some batter in you have to with a spike pierce the middle and work the batter upward to form the bun. Simultaneously you have to make sure the bottom is cooked by gently directing the hot oil to the base. Only an expert can do this. So Ananda and I divided the functions. He formed the bun and I directed the oil. π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°π₯°
