this is for a least favorite harry potter character contest. i never liked snape and here’s all the reasons why:

4 years ago1) he couldn’t get over being dumped at age 15 by a girl who didn’t even like him romantically 2) he bullied kids and almost made neville watch his pet die 3) hated harry for something that wasn’t even his fault 4) while lupin was recovering from a full moon he made lupins students write an essay about how to kill werewolves for lupin to read when he got back

4 years ago5) exposed lupin as a werewolf and made it impossible for him to get a job 6) was a death eater and would have continued to be one if lily never existed 7) literally wanted sirius to get the dementors kiss. 8) he may have died bravely or whatever but doing good things doesn’t make you a good person. ted bundy saved a child from drowning but he was a horrible person

4 years agoI don’t understand Snape apologists at all he was just a creep who bullied children and thought he was entitled to Lily even though he was racist towards her and if she hadn’t existed he would have gone down in history as the most loyal death eater of them all

4 years ago@🖤Cold_Blooded❤️ he was bullied but he was the only one who could control what he said, and he still called lily a racial slur. he was also a death eater until voldermort killed lily, when that happened he switched sides. and about lupin he usually had wolfsbane which made safe, and also (i may be wrong but i saw a post on this) in book 5 sirius mentions a law passed two years ago that prevented people from hiring werewolves. two years ago snape exposed lupin, who was working with children

4 years ago@GryffindorSpaceship honestly. i like to think that he considers teddy his son and he’s named after remus, which is why harry didn’t name any of his kids after him. but there were still so many great choices other than him
