Mum (not my birth mom but the Mum of my heart) is in her last moments in England. She taught me a song she and her sister sang skipping thru London in her bombed out neighbourhood after the Blitz. ๐ถ๐ถ๐ถYouโll die if you worry- Youโll die if you donโt- so why worry at all๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ I continue to be a notorious worrier (I tell my husband - someone in this family has to๐) but I always feel a bit braver when I sing their song. This was taken in an alcove of Beatrice Potters cottage in the Lake District.

4 years agoI was fortunate enough to spend a week with my dad a few months before he left. Grateful to this day.
I may not have that opportunity with mom; but weโve been spending so much wonderful quality time together on the phone the past several months that I wonโt feel cheated.
Still miss dad, and I will miss mom very much too.
And like you, very thankful for the relationships Iโve had with my parents.

4 years agoHello again dear Beth! This is lovely & beautiful! Sorry to hear she is in her last moments. Keeping memories of her is beautiful. I so much would love to go where you two are, Beatrice Potters cottage! May be one day... Iโm sorry I have not been following, I continue very busy with life over here, and tired. Iโve been falling asleep as soon as I grab my phone to Recolor a little. Life doesnโt seem to slow down anymore. Anyway, have a wonderful time in Maui and safe trip! Take care! ๐
