4 years ago@Dee Stone I’m new to this app and I’m wondering what people use to draw on when recoloring a photo like this. I’m on an iPhone 8 Plus but I can’t do the detail work for this type of picture. Just wondering what the tools are to do what you do! It’s beyond beautiful and I hope you have a lot of your work in frames! I would give them as gifts!

4 years agoSo sweet, Dawn! I use an iPad Pro (the smaller version) & Apple Pencil. There are lots of artists on this app that use their fingers & phones, who do fantastic work. I admire them greatly. The secret is to zoom out, zoom, zoom, zoom! Sometimes until it pixelates. Then go back down & check your work. The other thing is practice, practice, practice.
There is a FB group Recoloring Tips and Tutorials. They are a great, helpful bunch of people, very supportive. I’ve learned a lot there. @Dawn Oldham
