Chapter 1:
It was a peaceful night in the newly blended world. Everyone had voted a name for the new place, and they decided upon Bahari Bay after Bahari the Mochi Raptor’s great ancestors who had settled the island. Nebula and Bahari were doing the dusk patrol around the small town before a scream was heard. The two whipped around and the axolotl broke into a run towards the scream, tossing the butt of the cigarette behind.

4 years agoThe blue raptor swung his tail and wrapped in around their friend, tripping them, “Put. It. Out.”
“I see you English is getting better,” they grumbled, their gills and tail turning bubblegum pink in annoyance.
They stomped the embers and looked up at the raptor, “What?”

4 years agoHe raised his eyebrows and glared at the grey figure through slitted eyes.
“Fine! Jesus,” Nebula picked up the remaining cigarette from the ground and threw it away.
“Can we go now? Someone could be dying for fuck’s sake.”
The two ran to the one-story house, Nebula violently and impatiently knocking on the door once they arrived.

4 years agoThere was no answer except the shattering of glass on the other side.
The duo glanced at each other, nodding. The axolotl reared back, raising their leg and kicked the wooden door; it splintered and cracked. Bahari flattened his head feathers and charged at the door. It swung open, rocking on the hinges.

4 years agoA PC was on the floor sideways, sparking and spewing out cords with a thin trail of smoke traveling to the sky. Next to the computer was a chipped glass bleeding out a light brown liquid. Bahari lowered his blue head and sniffed the substance.
“You better not-“
He lapped some of the lightly colored matter with his golden tongue, “Sweet. Tea.”

4 years ago“Never lick random liquids again, Bahari,” Nebula rubbed their eyes with their claw-like hands.
The smile was wiped off his face, and he grew pale. His golden irises were a speck in his endless black sea of his scleras.
“Ko. Da.”
Nebula followed his gaze to a broken pair of round glasses.
“Koda.”

4 years ago~Later in the shadows of Bahari Bay~
An unknown figure slinks into the shadows, their short tail bobbing as they jog away from the town.
“Damn kid. Damn glasses. Damn world,” the figure plucked minuscule pieces of glass from their paw, licking the cuts once all foreign objects were removed.
“I’ve got big plans. We’ve just begun.”

4 years agoAw, thank you! I usually abandon my “books” once I get writer’s block. A friend and I once collaborated on a story but around 200 pages we had too much homework and the story was never picked up. @💛🖤ITᔕ~ᗪᗩ~TᖇIᗷE💛🖤
