Beautifully colored. Very sweet...and very wise words! Unfortunately, sometimes those you thought were lifelong friends prove to be not that at all. Seems once I lost so much mobility I also lost friends I thought were lifelong...they proved to only have been my friend as long as I was doing for them. Sad realization at this point in life. @Deborah H

@TerryLynnAbuali I agree. But now that I’ve moved twice, one to Arizona to be close to my son, and once recently to move in with my son in a small in-law suite, I am all alone basically with knowing only neighbors. I miss my friends. It’s harder I think at my age to make friends. And I’m a homebody too. A friend to go out to dinner or to a movie once in awhile sounds awesome. But RC friends have made my days go better so I’m grateful. I hope to figure it out. Wish I was close to you🌺

@TerryLynnAbuali Is there a support group or anything you could join ... there may be others that are in the same situation. We all yearn for a friend ... even if I can’t see my sister or friends, I video chat with them every couple days and it helps. Makes me feel like I’m there sort of. If you want to do that my friend ... I would gladly be friends that way too with you ! Just say the word 🌺. I HATE being alone. I hate being lonely but I’m doing better than I thought. Don’t give up❣️

Beautiful picture...True and same 👍🏻🥰😍👏🏻❤️❣️❣️❣️❣️unfortunately now that I’ve been bedridden and sick I’ve lost all my friends but my bestie who lives 3000 miles away from me and sadly I believe is an alcoholic which I don’t like speaking to her (and she knows it) when she’s been drinking . I really only have my hubby and my adult girls tho they really don’t spend much time visiting me and my hubby works long hours so Recolor has been great for me too to have a small social life so to speak lol.

@Deborah H I’m ok being alone, as I’m more an introvert type but since I’ve become mostly homebound I sometimes feel more isolation. Hubby works and I no longer am able to drive so I sit here not able to even do much in the way of chores. My longtime friends are busy still with work. I just never hear from them anymore. I miss working and being productive too. I’m still trying to get used to my physical limitations...and I’m sure that’s part of the slump. Thanks for your suggestions. ♥️♥️

@Chanté So sorry to hear that Chant’e! At least we are not alone in this. It almost brings me comfort knowing that I’m not the only one. There are lonely people everywhere in the world when you think about it! Older and infirm people are susceptible to this and it’s a shame. The adjustment to either circumstance is hard, but harder when you’re alone or far from loved ones who could bring you comfort, help, and laughter. Let’s try to feel upbeat. we do have people. 3 of us right here! 🙂

@TerryLynnAbuali I have an idea? A coworker of mine had a mother in a wheelchair with MS. She was in her 50s and used to be a bookkeeper. Somehow, She learned the local school was in need of teacher help grading papers etc at night. They would drop off the papers and pick them up. It was perfect! She loved it and got cards from the kids etc. why don’t you call and see if that is an option? It could change your life and give you purpose again 👏👏👏👏. I hope you will check it out ♥️
